Description
A woman who runs a boarding house in Whitechapel rents a room to a strange, tall man who pays his money up front. At the same time, a killer called the Avenger is hunting and killing people in the area. When the woman's stepdaughter goes missing and news of the murders spreads, she starts to think her new renter might be the one doing the killing.
