Katherine Seymour, an early radio scriptwriter currently working on "Light Of The World," describes how she landed her job at WEAF in 1925 and recalls the disastrous first broadcast of "Tales From The Arabian Nights." The episode features a live on-air audition conducted by NBC's Dramatic Audition Department representatives Al Williams and Marjorie Loper, including eighteen-year-old Patricia Bright (who later appeared on "The Slapsy Maxie Show" in 1948), along with NBC studio musician violinist Zeles Smirnov performing "Wings Of Song," and a recreation of a program written by Burr C. Cook that aired on NBC from 1930 to 1933 and starred Edwin Whitney, who also directed "Behind The Mike."
