Mars Is Heaven

This episode depicts humanity's first landing on Mars on April 20, 1987, featuring Ed Prentiss interviewing baseball player Luke Appling during a commercial break and actor Joel McCrea in another commercial spot. The script was originally written for a June 2, 1950 broadcast and was later reused on Dimension X (January 1, 1951), X Minus One (May 8, 1955), and Future Tense (July 1976), with the X Minus One version also being rebroadcast on Monitor in September 1973.
