Getting Drafted
War reporter Hanley Finn lives a wild and funny life in New Guinea, surrounded by military men who are his friends and partners. His crazy daily routine gets turned upside down when he gets a surprise letter ordering him to return to Australia and join the army.
The chaotic, often comic life of Hanley Finn, a war correspondent in New Guinea. His world is peopled with a colorful cast of military personnel who have become both friends and reluctant allies. Finn's routine is disrupted when he receives an unexpected draft notice, summoning him back to Australia to serve in the army.
Sears Radio Theater was a radio drama anthology series which ran weeknights on CBS Radio in 1979, sponsored by the Sears chain. Often paired with The CBS Radio Mystery Theater during its first season, the program offered a different genre of drama for each evening's broadcast.
