Three treasure hunters search the Yucatan jungles for famous emeralds hidden in an old temple built for a dangerous snake goddess. When they steal from the temple, they wake up an evil force that kills one hunter, forces another to run for his life, and sends the third back to New York with a terrible curse.

In the jungles of Yucatan, treasure hunters Morgan, Frenchie, and Dutch seek fortune in an ancient Aztec temple. They ignore warnings from Mary Ann, an Indian girl, and steal emeralds from the statue of the boa goddess. Their triumph is short-lived, however, as a curse engulfs them and Mary Ann turns into the goddess on her wedding night.
