Captain John English commands the cargo ship "Roundabout" and his men as they sail through dangerous Eastern waters. A Dutch preacher named Dr. Rob Walks joins their trip, hoping to change the religion of the Balinese people. When Walks turns out to be a rebel, English must choose between doing what's right and keeping his ship and crew safe.
