A Coffin For The Devil

A professor and a young couple try to determine what really happened 100 years ago when a stranger ordered from a mortician a coffin of unusual design for himself. With an inside lock and hinges, the coffin also had enough room for its occupant to move arms. The stranger carried it to a cemetery, apparently walking with it through the gates.

William Spindles and his fiancée Lucy find an old letter that tells the tale of William's great-great-grandfather, who worked as an undertaker. The story describes a mysterious stranger who came to pick up a coffin that looked like a music box. After the stranger disappeared into a tomb, the undertaker was discovered knocked out next to the empty coffin, unable to explain what happened.
