Adolf and Eva
In the dim confines of the Führerbunker, tension mounts as Eva Braun clings to her love for Adolf Hitler, whose grip on power is slipping. Their bond is tested by history's weight, and Hitler's marriage proposal brings a semblance of normalcy to chaos. As Russian forces advance, the couple prepares for their final act of despair.
Inside Hitler's underground bunker, Eva Braun holds onto her love for Adolf Hitler as his control over Germany falls apart. Their relationship faces the pressure of world events, and when Hitler asks her to marry him, it brings a moment of ordinary life to the madness around them. With Russian troops closing in, the couple gets ready for their last desperate choice.
A frightening vision of the future, and a new version of the Adam and Eve story. The final days in a confined bunker come alive for Eva as she attains all she’s wanted for 16 years. But the Bible says, “Go forth and multiply.”
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
