Alias Mr. Aladdin

When his young wife, Millie, asks David McNell, her elderly husband, where he gets his money, he says it comes from a genie in a lamp. She and her boyfriend, Walt Hollins, want the money, all of it—after Dave dies, of course. But they realize they can’t get rid of him until he tells them the truth about the money’s hiding place. Dave has told only one person—his best friend, County Prosecutor Ben Baker—who also has some ideas about who should get Dave’s bank roll.

A sneaky woman and her useless boyfriend keep trying to locate her dead husband's hidden cash while his best friend works to stop them.

A scheming woman and her incapable paramour repeatedly attempt to find out her deceased husband's money stash as his best friend tries to impede them.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
