All Things Are Beautiful

In a peaceful small town in Ohio, a young shopkeeper named John Agar gets blamed for killing someone after police find a bloody knife in his bags. Nobody believes him when he says he didn't do it, and he goes to court and gets sent to prison for many years. In the end, while he waits to die in his jail cell, he finds peace knowing he really didn't commit the crime.

Amid the quiet life of a small Ohio town, a young merchant, John Agar, is accused of murder when a blood-stained knife is found in his luggage. His cries of innocence are ignored as he faces trial and years of prison, but he finally finds solace in the knowledge of his innocence as he awaits death in a prison cell.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
