Assassination In Time

Professor Jennings Andrews shows his time machine to his graduate student and daughter in a dark lab. Their ordinary lives fall apart when the professor sends the two young people back to when Lincoln was alive. They have a hard time dealing with knowing what will happen as they watch the president get killed.

Professor Jennings Andrews, his scientific breakthrough in time travel perfected, transports his daughter Peg and her fiancé Mac McDonald, his first human travelers, back to a most significant day in American history—April 14, 1865, the day Abraham Lincoln was shot. With bitter memories of the Civil War still lingering, Peg and Mac, aware of what really happened on that ill-fated day, set out to undo one of the great tragedies in American history.

In a dimly lit laboratory, Professor Jennings Andrews demonstrates his time-travel device to his graduate student and his daughter. The trio's normal life shatters when the professor sends his two young colleagues back to Lincoln's time. They struggle with the weight of foreknowledge as they witness the president's assassination.
