Beyond the Barrier

Brilliant scientist Curry Harrow lies unconscious in a hospital bed after a terrible accident, trapped between life and death. Though his body won't move, his mind stays awake - he can hear his family talking and remember his past. Now he must face his anger and mistakes before choosing whether to live or die.

Dr. Curry Harrow, a young research scientist, is seriously injured in a car accident. When he arrives at the hospital, he thinks he is still alive, yet he can’t communicate by voice or body movement with his surgeons or his friends and is pronounced dead. He is terrified by the series of experiences that he can’t explain—a floating sensation and strange communications with his father and his girlfriend, both dead. When he is led down a long dark passageway, he starts thinking that he, too, is now really dead.

In a hospital bed lies Curry Harrow, a brilliant scientist who, after a serious accident, finds himself in a limbo state between life and death. While his body is motionless, he is conscious and can hear the voices of his family and relive memories of the past. He must confront his bitterness and regret, and finally decide whether to return to life.
