Bring Back My Body

Tabitha Riding, an educated, conservative engineer, knows she must murder Spencer Whitlow, a man she’s never heard of. She consults a psychiatrist to help unravel this mystery, and suddenly past, present and future collide openly as Tabitha and Spencer meet face to face—again.

In a dimly lit parlor, the atmosphere is tense, filled with the scent of old books. Tabitha Riding, a diligent engineer, grapples with mysterious episodes. Her nights are haunted by visions of Spencer Whitlow, a stranger she feels compelled to harm. Helena Riding, her sister, battles a haunting from a romantic novel character. The Riding sisters' world teeters on the edge of surrealism as they navigate their peculiar struggles.

In a dark room filled with old books, two sisters face strange troubles. Tabitha Riding works as an engineer but suffers from weird attacks at night where she sees Spencer Whitlow, a man she doesn't know but wants to hurt. Her sister Helena Riding fights against a ghost from a love story book. The Riding sisters live in a world that feels almost unreal as they deal with their odd problems.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
