Carmilla
In the Austrian countryside during the early 1900s, Lois Stanton lives quietly with her father until a strange woman called Carmilla shows up after her carriage crashes. Lois feels pulled toward Carmilla, but she gets sicker as a terrifying beast haunts her sleep. A general tells them who Carmilla really is: Mircalla from the evil Karnstein family.
Nineteen-year-old Laura Stanton, living with her father in an isolated Austrian mansion, is delighted when one of the victims of a carriage accident, 19-year-old Carmilla, agrees to stay with them. They become very close friends until Laura learns who—and what—Carmilla really is.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
