Chapter of Errors

The theft of two Picasso prints from a New York gallery sets off a frantic search for the criminals and a $5,000 reward for their return. The tension mounts as two schemers try to collect the reward and a down-and-out couple tries to rob the gallery owner while the police close in on the crooks.

The Professor and his sidekick, Augie, heist two Picasso etchings worth $100,000 from the Pinochet Gallery. Pinochet puts a sign in the gallery’s front window offering $5,000 for their return. The Professor will give them up—after enjoying them for a few days in his apartment—for nothing less than $20,000. But two young punks, seeing the sign in the window, pretend they have the etchings and agree to give them to Pinochet for his original offer.

When thieves steal two Picasso prints from a New York art gallery, police hunt for the criminals while the gallery offers $5,000 to get the artwork back. Two con men try to win the reward money as a broke husband and wife plan to rob the gallery owner, but the cops are closing in on everyone.
