Dead for a Dollar
Along with his millions, Jason Grant sits on a golden throne built on many ruined lives, and has earned the hatred of more people than he bothers to remember. On this day, however, two ex-employees sit in a bar and plan how they will kill Grant, by tossing a coin to decide which one will do it.
Jason Grant has made millions of dollars, but he destroyed many lives to get rich and now countless people hate him. Today, two former workers meet at a bar to plan Grant's murder, and they flip a coin to see who will kill him.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
