Death on Project X

The only thing government account Eli Hews knows about Project X, a top-secret research center working on the ultimate weapon, is the size of its tremendous budget. But Project X seems to be run efficiently, and Hews is ready to file a positive report until he receives a note saying “Beware, the end is near,” and then discovers that the project’s psychiatrist is insane. However, when he tries to recommend Project X’s termination, Hews faces his greatest threat: death.

At a secret government base, Eli Hughes comes to check on Project X, a hidden defense program. Eli sees how the stress is hurting the scientists and watches the psychiatrist struggle with right and wrong. He asks them to stop the project, but their hunger for power wins over doing what's right.

In the tense atmosphere of a top-secret government facility, Eli Hughes arrives to evaluate Project X, a defense initiative shrouded in secrecy. As Eli finds the psychological strain burdening the scientists and witnesses the moral anguish of the psychiatrist, he pleads for an end to the initiative, but the relentless pursuit of power eclipses ethics.
