Death Star

Liza Rountree prides herself on being a smart, sensible business executive. Yet, since the new newsstand attendant appeared on the scene, she mysteriously and without warning takes on the personality of Molly Tapely, a woman burned at the stake for adultery and witchcraft many years ago. Coming to grips with her dual personality leads Liza to solve the problem as Molly might have—with murder!

Business executive Liza Rountree thinks she's smart and practical. But after a new man starts working at the newsstand, she suddenly starts acting like Molly Tapely, a woman who was killed long ago for cheating on her husband and practicing witchcraft. When Liza realizes she has two different personalities, she decides to fix her problem the way Molly would have—by killing someone!

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
