Four elderly friends drink water from Florida's Fountain of Youth and become younger, but the men revert to old rivalries competing for the woman's attention.
Dr. Heidegger's troubled friends drink water from the Fountain of Youth and become young again, but they make the same foolish mistakes they made when they were young before. In the end, they discover that being smart is just as important as being young, and that no one can stop themselves from getting older.
Dr. Heidegger's desperate friends drink from the Fountain of Youth and are rejuvenated, but their follies of youth return with their vitality. They finally learn that wisdom must accompany youth and that it is futile to try to escape the inevitable passage of time.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
