In a dense forest shrouded in a chilling rainstorm, Hank Farley, Will Chase, and Dolly, Hank’s determined wife, make their way through murky paths, desperate for freedom. Hank and Will rely on each other and on Dolly’s resolve. Their precarious journey takes an unexpected turn when they stumble upon an isolated cottage owned by a peculiar woman, Granny Good.

After escaping from an Army stockade, G.I.s Hank Farley and Will Chase are met by Hank’s wife, Dolly, driving the getaway car. Because of darkness and heavy rain, Dolly can’t find her way back to the highway, causing the men to get lost in the dark, impenetrable and frightening Louisiana forest. The trio move in on Granny Good, whose cabin is in the middle of nowhere. This proves to be their first mistake—Granny possesses mystical powers they cannot comprehend.
