In a radio studio, Irma, a devoted fan of 'The Show,' shares her world with co-worker Carlos. But when she becomes convinced of a fictional murder, she strains their friendship, while two actors from the show face the fallout of a new plot twist and the drinking problem of one of them. Irma's obsession culminates in a dream confession of the murder.

At a radio station, Irma loves listening to 'The Show' and works alongside Carlos. When Irma starts believing a made-up murder really happened, it puts stress on her friendship with Carlos. Meanwhile, two actors from the show deal with problems from a new story twist and one actor's struggle with drinking too much. Irma's fixation reaches its peak when she dreams about confessing to the murder.

Perry Stanhope, starring as Joe in “Crossroads,” a popular television daytime serial, kills his wife Margo, an actress the producer wants written out of the continuing story. Margo, who in real life is also Perry’s wife, is furious because Perry didn’t try to save her job and threatens to kill him. In the next installment of “Crossroads,” the police seem to believe Joe’s alibi and, when he’s murdered in real life, the real police are convinced his wife did it.
