Five Ghostly Indians

While vacationing in Maine, Professor George Waymouth and Colonel Caleb Pengree find an old Indian arrowhead on a deserted beach where an early explorer once brutally murdered six Indians. Shortly thereafter, they are frightened by the sound of drums and a cloudy apparition rising out of the water. They keep hearing the drums and seeing the apparition, and when Waymouth is attacked by an unknown force, both men become convinced that avenging spirits do exist.

The White Pines Inn, nestled in a remote, eerie landscape, houses folklore and mystery. Professor George Weymouth, a skeptic, arrives for a quiet stay. The innkeeper, Boggs, and Colonel Pingree, familiar with the inn's secrets, welcome him. The inn exudes an ominous silence, unbroken by its guests, Ben and Fran Faraday.

A skeptical professor named George Weymouth comes to stay at the mysterious White Pines Inn, located in a spooky, isolated area filled with local legends.
