Happy Death Day

Paul Verner, married to an overweight but wealthy Marge, is secretly courting her half sister, Valerie. Scheming to do away with Marge, Paul concocts an elaborate plot involving hypnosis, under the influence of which Marge begins to believe that she will commit suicide on her next birthday. Convinced she is going mad, Marge visits a psychiatrist who, after several interviews, is able to get an inkling of what Paul and Valerie are up to.

In a dimly lit parlor, Marge lives with her husband, Paul, and stepsister, Val. The air is thick with tension. Marge, a gentle soul troubled by ominous dreams, trusts her family. Paul, charming yet deceitful, and Val, sly and enigmatic, share whispered secrets. Their life seems ordinary, but beneath the surface, shadows lurk. Marge's nights are restless, haunted by dreams of her demise, casting a pall over their home.
