Fran and Rick Warren think Israel may be a letdown after the wonders of Egypt and beauty of Jordan. But a sudden knock on the hotel door insures they’ll have an exciting visit: An Arab plans to hold them hostage so he can deliver a bomb to a traitor in the Israeli government.
In a tense hotel room in Jerusalem, Rick and Fran Warren, American tourists, navigate an unfamiliar world. Their bond is strong, grounded in years of shared adventure and trust. But that world shatters when Ahmed Suleiman, posing as Rick, takes Fran hostage. Their ordeal ends with a heartfelt reunion, their love, tested by terror, emerging stronger, resilient.
American tourists Rick and Fran Warren find themselves trapped in a dangerous situation at a Jerusalem hotel when Ahmed Suleiman pretends to be Rick and kidnaps Fran. After surviving this frightening experience, the married couple reunites and discovers their relationship has grown even stronger despite being put to the ultimate test.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
