How Much Land Does a Man Need?

In 1700s Virginia, rich landowner Tom Morgan wants more and more land. A mysterious stranger gives him a chance to buy huge territory past the Mississippi River, but Tom must race against time to get it. Worn out and sick, Tom falls down at the end and dies. He gets buried in a grave that shows how much land a man really needs.

In 18th-century Virginia, Tom Morgan, a wealthy landowner obsessed with acquiring more land, is driven to a desperate race against time when an enigmatic stranger offers him a chance to buy a vast tract beyond the Mississippi.
