Hunted Down
Julius Slinkton has purchased insurance policies from London Life for his two nieces and a friend, in each case naming himself the beneficiary. When one of his nieces, only 23, dies while with him in Italy, Slinkton is suspected of foul play by the London Life agent who sold him the policy. The agent must not only prove his assumption but prevent Slinkton from doing away with the other two policyholders.
This mystery drama is set in a busy insurance office in a provincial English city. It concerns the plans of a scheming insurance agent to manipulate his company into paying off policies on several lives he seeks to destroy, leading to a thrilling climax when he is exposed by a former employee and his girl.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
