Ellen Bartlett’s periodic attacks are beyond any prescription of Dr. Abramowitz. When medical student Daniel Post, vacationing with the doctor, tries his hand in curing her, his unexpected success makes a deep impression on the girl. But Post’s career takes him far away, and when one of the attacks recurs, her father alone is left to help.

Ellen Bartlett suffers from strange episodes that Dr. Abramowitz can't treat with any medicine. During a vacation with the doctor, medical student Daniel Post attempts to help her, and his surprising success deeply affects the young woman. However, Post's work takes him to a distant place, and when Ellen has another attack, only her father remains to care for her.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
