Is Venice Drowning?

Margaret McClain, a young engineer, is assigned to an international project to save Venice from drowning. She abandons her conventional solutions when the goddess Venus suddenly appears in one of Venice’s ancient plazas. Margaret becomes convinced the only way to save the stricken city is to build a temple to its namesake, Venus.
