Little Lucy's Lethal Libation
A man who works in advertising thinks women are plotting to control everything after his female boss gives him a difficult female customer who hates being in the news.
Tom Raglan, whose advertising campaign sold $32 million worth of Yum-Yummy dog food, is being transferred by his woman boss to the Little Lucy’s Lively Libation account. The product is owned by a woman who tells him she needs no advertising; the drink sells itself. Tom sees this as a plot to get him fired, which is what is happening to other men in his agency. He winds up in a mental institution under the care of a woman psychiatrist assigned to him by the managing director, a woman appointed by the governor, also a woman.
Womens Lib runs amok. An advertising executive suspects that women plan to take over the world when his female boss assigns him to an account with an overbearing female client who shuns publicity.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
