Mirror, Mirror

Jessica Chapman and Clare Connor were once roommates at Stapleton Academy. Jessica is shocked to find that Clare who was once "fairest of them all" has been terribly scarred by a bleak marriage and a dysfunctional relationship with her child. However, what haunts her most is the memory of the golden mirror she gave her friend, and she embarks on a journey to discern what part it has played in the tragedy of Clare's life.

Years have passed since Jessica Chapman and Clare Connor were roommates at Stapleton Academy. The memory of the gold-framed mirror she gave Clare haunts Jessica, and she sets out to discover what part it played in her friend's tragic destruction.

Former roommates Jessica Chapman and Clare Connor attended Stapleton Academy together. Jessica is stunned to discover that Clare, who was once the most beautiful woman around, has been badly damaged by a terrible marriage and troubled relationship with her kid. But what bothers Jessica the most is remembering the golden mirror she once gave her friend, so she sets out to figure out how it contributed to the disaster that became Clare's life.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
