A movie company is taken hostage by a Central American warlord while on location. They are faced with a moral dilemma when the commander demands a night with the director's wife in exchange of their liberty.

A film crew gets trapped by a Central American military leader while shooting their movie. The group must make a tough choice when the commander wants to spend the night with the director's wife to let them all go free.

Movie star Bart Wallace insists his wife Ruth accompany him on location for a new picture. She knows it will co-star his latest beautiful “protégé” and is prepared for yet another long, lonely siege. But as the company begins to shoot in the isolated mountain ranges of a Latin American country, a roving band of revolutionaries suddenly appears. Their freedom will be given on the condition that Ruth spend the night with the darling leader of the bandits, Numbero Uno.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
