Description
Lili Vardas, en route to Berlin for a singing engagement, and reporter Jake Shaw, who is doing a story on the trail of Jan Stepanek, are reunited on the Orient Express. Lili is willing to do anything to save Jan’s life, so when a man who claims to be his brother asks her to smuggle documents into Russia, she agrees. But Jake and Lili soon suspect that Jan may already be dead and that they themselves may not make it home alive.
A divorced man and woman accidentally meet again on the famous Orient Express train traveling to Czechoslovakia. During the Cold War, a smart newspaper writer and a bold nightclub performer get caught up in dangerous secrets and lies, forcing them to team up to find out what's really happening.
An estranged couple chance upon an unlikely reunion aboard the legendary Orient Express en route to Czechoslovakia. In this tale of international intrigue set during the Cold War, a shrewd reporter and sassy lounge singer become entangled in a web of lies and they must work together to uncover the truth.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
