Kent Farrady is at first told there are no rooms available in the resort hotel where he stayed the previous day. But the night clerk, Gloria, is taken by his deep blue eyes and gives him the key to room 418, whose occupant has mysteriously disappeared. The occupant is Kent’s wife, whose body he had stuffed in a closet after shooting her twice. Strangely, she becomes alive and awakens him in the middle of the night. They have words, and he is compelled to shoot her again twice.
