Roses Are for Funerals
A fake leopard skin coat becomes the key to a case of assassination and mystery as a British man travels to the home of his American beloved.
Approached in an airport by a woman who desperately wants to buy her coat, Rose Corbin refuses and later learns the woman has been murdered. Rose and her fiancé Hank are then attacked by a man who is also after the coat. After a second murder her pursuers succeed in stealing the coat, but the murders don't stop, and Rose still doesn't know what she has that people are willing to kill for.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
