Strange New Tomorrow

The holocaust on Earth has taken place countless generations ago. The few remaining humans survive by capturing from other planets a constant supply of healthy bodies, hoping they can be used to weed out Earth’s radioactive poison. But the population continues to dwindle, and Gen. Vardon orders Earth’s one major scientist, Dr. Ralph Tremayne, to build an army of war-like robots with which to conquer a clean planet. If the reluctant Tremayne refuses, Vardon swears he will have the doctor’s beautiful young wife, Una, a humanoid created by Tremayne, destroyed and buried in a forgotten grave.

After the second Hundred Years War, a scientist and his wife are ordered by a covert agency to create a humanoid robot that can survive a land ravaged by nuclear fallout.

Following the second century-long war, a secret organization commands a scientist and his wife to build a human-like machine that can live in a country destroyed by atomic radiation.
