Wall Street's Wonder Boy Jonas McDowell can't understand why his marriage proposal got turned down. Since he thinks getting married might help him live longer, Jonas decides to figure out what went wrong.

Jonas McDowell, the “Wonder Boy” of Wall Street, is totally baffled when his magnanimous proposal for marriage is rejected. Believing that marriage could prolong his life, Jonas determines to find out why he was refused, never realizing that he could lose the very life he hopes to save.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
