The Believers

A curious neighbor gets suspicious about weird things happening at the house next to hers, so she tells her son to check it out. The boy finds out there's another world inside the house and figures out what's really going on.

When a nosy neighbor becomes curious about the strange incidents that go on at the house next door, she sends her son over to investigate. He soon discovers a parallel universe within its walls and solves the mystery.

Agatha Pearson has been watching the house of her neighbor, Eban Bolivar, for days. In the evenings people leave their own cars in Bolivar’s driveway, enter his house, and are not seen again. Later in the evening, Bolivar drives the cars away. Finally, her curiosity getting the better of her, Agatha sends her 30-year-old son, Alan, to investigate. Alan has a friendly conversation with Bolivar, who concludes it by inviting Alan to come to his house that evening.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
