The Black Door
A young man must live in an old house to get his family's money, but first he has to find what's hidden behind a mysterious dark door upstairs.
A solicitor helps a young man struck by a carriage get home to his mansion. The lawyer learns about a sealed black door upstairs that the man's father instructed him to open upon turning 21, but fear prevents him from entering when the time arrives.
A 21 year old man is made to stay in an ancient mansion in order to procure his inheritance. The key apparently is behind a strange black door on the topmost floor.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
