A bank accountant gets out of prison after 5 years for a crime he didn't commit and starts hunting for the real criminal who framed him.

Will Crawford, found guilty of embezzling $100,000 of his bank’s securities, is released from jail five years later, determined to reestablish his family’s good standing. With the help of a local newspaper reporter, Will questions every bank employee who was possibly involved, including the mother of his assistant, now dead, whose diary contains revealing facts.

After serving a 5-year sentence for fraud, a bank accountant begins his own investigation to discover the real perpetrator of the crime for which he was convicted.
