The Deadly Hour

Martin Jerome, who after a traumatic experience has avoided speaking to anyone for 25 years, seeks an interview with a psychiatrist to tell a horrifying tale of revenge against a young couple who had inadvertently invaded his privacy.

A man who doesn't trust himself almost goes crazy when his wife cheats on him and he stops talking. Years later, during therapy, he confesses that he trapped his unfaithful wife and her lover in a cave and listened to them die.

A self-doubting man is nearly driven to insanity by the infidelity of his wife and stops speaking. Years later in a counselling session, he admits to having confined the adulterous pair in a cavern and hear them meet their death

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
