The Fifth Man
William Jackson has been murdered. He was a higher-up within the British secret intelligence, well known throughout international spy circles. The question is, was he killed by his own people, the enemy, or his best friend who was in love with his wife Frances? Or did he simply “accidentally” fall from a moving train?
A British reporter goes undercover to find communist spies and double agents working in the airplane business and expose the traitors.
In order to discover moles and communist spies in the aviation industry, a British journalist works as a secret agent to unmask the traitors.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
