The Forgetful Ghost

A wacky story of a pleasant, forgetful ghost returned to the world for a purpose, but for the fact that he has forgotten it. A man finds him and they pair up to make a card hustle that will prove useful for the ghost's living daughter. But his real purpose is far broader in scope.

A friendly but absent-minded ghost comes back to Earth with an important mission, except he can't remember what it is. When a man discovers him, they team up to run card games and scams to help the ghost's daughter who is still alive. But the ghost's true reason for returning is much bigger than anyone realizes.

Sam Gordon hopes he and his wife Eve will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary before she dies. While preparing a cup of hot chocolate for her one evening, Sam is accosted by Peter Pruitt, who claims he’s a ghost. Sam fears Pruitt has been sent to take Eve, but Pruitt is not so sure. But he does save Sam’s life, helps him win back $10,000 from a crooked gambler, and then makes him an offer he cannot refuse.
