A 19th century ghost buster meets his match in a violent and aggressive poltergeist in an American mansion.
A ghost hunter from the 1800s faces his toughest challenge when he encounters a dangerous and angry spirit haunting an American house.
Flaxman Low, a parapsychologist, is invited to spend a weekend in Land Manor in Surrey, whose owner, Sir George Blackburton, claims is cursed by a strange force that seems to be trying to crowd him and his wife out. While there, Low is shocked by the manner in which Sir George’s nephew is murdered. Determined to find an explanation, Low volunteers to spend a night in the room where the terrifying incident took place.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
