A man wants to marry the woman he loves, but he needs her father to say yes first. He makes a bargain with a supernatural being to get rich, but everything turns into a disaster.

Rich and spoiled Tom Cartwright III, in pain from a spider bite and car accident in which he'd hoped both he and his pregnant wife would die, claims he is somebody else and requests psychiatric treatment. His complex story causes colleagues to suggest he be written off as incurable, but the psychiatrist persists.

In order to win the hand of his beloved, a man must first gain her father's approval. After he strikes a deal with an otherworldly creature for immense wealth, things go horribly wrong.
