The Grey Slapper

In this play about the prevalent corruption in society, a former student tries to save his teacher turned politician from selling his soul. At the same time, a nosy reporter throws sparks a scandal that the two are in a relationship. In the midst of the chaos, the media continues to search for a gray-clad woman that unexpectedly slapped a prominent politician.

Dolly Morrison, in love with 60-year-old Tony Pringle from the time he was a 30-year-old idealistic professor, claims she has been talking to his younger self. Pringle is now a shady politician who has forsaken his ideals in his lust for power and success. Dolly, who has seemingly appeared from out of nowhere, warns Pringle that his younger self is going to kill him for having abandoned his ideals. Tony thinks she’s crazy until he meets his younger self face-to-face.

A play explores how corruption spreads everywhere in society. A man who used to be a student works to rescue his old teacher, who became a politician and might lose his values. Meanwhile, a pushy reporter creates trouble by claiming the two men are romantically involved. While all this happens, news people keep looking for a mystery woman dressed in gray who shocked everyone by hitting a famous politician.
