The Million Dollar Scam
In order to scam a wealthy heiress out of a million dollars, a pair of swindlers must set their differences aside and work together.
Two con artists who don't get along have to team up to trick a rich woman into giving them a million dollars.
June Henderson had been thoroughly trained in the art of thievery by Stanley, ever since he found her as a promising pickpocket. June thinks she has the perfect mark for her first solo scam: the dotty widow of millionaire Fred Worth. But then June makes a fatal mistake. Old Fred Worth didn’t get rich playing fair, and he taught his widow Billie every trick in the book.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
