The Reunion

An American war veteran meets a fellow soldier in Paris, a decade after the D-day at Utah Beach during World War II. He discovers that his friend leads a Jekyll and Hide life.

Ten years after fighting together at Utah Beach in World War II, an American veteran runs into his old army buddy in Paris and finds out his friend lives a double life.

When Louis Simons meets his old buddy, Hank Murphy, in a Paris bar, his greeting is a sock in the jaw. A few minutes later, when they meet again in Louis’ room, Hank is surprised when Louis hits him. They resolve their differences once they discover that a schizophrenic man named Henri Jones, who looks like Hank, is loose in the city, and they agree he must have been the one who hit Louis. But later, when Hank (or Henri?) is found murdered, the police accuse Louis of the crime.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
