The Sending
Debbie Ross, infatuated with Professor Arnold Lansing and his course of the forces of evil in early history, agrees to do a special project on foretelling the future. He gives her an ancient speculum which, if she looks into it properly, will tell her her future. What she sees thoroughly frightens Debbie.
A college professor makes a deal with evil forces, trading his students' souls to a demon so his dying wife can live longer.
Innocent co-eds at a college get their souls sold to the demon by their professor. Black magic is afoot as the professor barters their souls to extend his wife's life.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
