The Shining Man
A man and woman buy a spooky house in Scotland when he gets a new job there. The man's uncle studies ghosts and tries to help them figure out why strange lights shine through the windows after dark.
Don Campbell, just awarded the job of headmaster in a Scottish school, and his wife, Gigi, prepare to move into the Old Connor House which they have been told is haunted by "the shining man," but which had a price tag within their reach. The former owner and his daughter had both died in the house from mysterious causes. Nevertheless, the Campbells are undaunted, until the man sent to clean the house for them is also found dead—cause unknown.
A young couple purchase a haunted house in Scotland where he is to take a new job. The man's uncle is a parapsychologist and tries to help them solve the mystery of the mysterious glowing in the windows at night.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
