The Unseen Watcher

A betting man comes up with a wild plan to kill his bookie so he can get out of the massive money he owes. To pay for his gambling habit, he murders his wife and burns down property to try to collect insurance money.

Flying his helicopter toward a traffic tie-up, reporter Sam Bendix takes a peek at the roof where a woman he and the boys in the radio newsroom call “Suntan Sue” often sunbathes in the nude. But this time, instead of waving at the helicopter, she is thrown down by a man and smothered with a pillow. It is a case of murder, for sure, but Sam’s testimony, say the police, will be no good in court. He was 600 feet above the scene of the crime.

A gambler dreams up a desperate scheme to "off" his bookie in order to escape his huge debts. To fund his addiction, he kills his wife and commits arson in an attempt to claim insurance.
